The new update to the Microsoft Launcher allows quick access to the Bing bot, which allows users to take advantage of the benefits of generative artificial intelligence based on OpenAI's GPT-4 model.
According to press reports, Microsoft will also make the new update available for its “Service Du” devices, which also run Android.
Users see the “Bing Chat” icon in the search bar installed on the main screen, or when they swipe down to access the search feature.
And when you click on the dedicated icon, the familiar “Bing Chat” interface appears in other Microsoft applications.
The “Launcher” category allows users of Android devices to customize their devices and change the way the home screen and applications are displayed, as well as additional features such as displaying news, shortcuts, calendar, note-taking, and others.
And Microsoft had launched its launcher application in 2017 in order to enable users to obtain its interface on the main screen of their devices instead of the default screen, and it also provides integration with other Microsoft applications, and the latest version of the launcher can be obtained through the Google Play Store . .
The company advised users to use the “Bing Chat” robot inside the Edge browser to enjoy and improve the use experience.
Microsoft has integrated artificial intelligence tools into its various applications, and plans to launch a personal assistant based on artificial intelligence in the Windows system, and support external browsers through custom additions later this year.
