Despite warnings from academics and technological trailblazers of "unpleasant consequences," artificial intelligence continues to penetrate new spheres of existence and is expected to revolutionise how people communicate.
An imminent feature in "iPhone" and "iPad" .. keep a copy of yourself on your device
The American "Fox News" television network reports that an upcoming update from "Apple" will enable a function that is unprecedented: accurately mimicking the user's voice to read texts in the same tone.
Users of "iPhone" phones and "iPad" devices should be able to use a very user-friendly feature called "Personal Voice" thanks to the "iOS 17" operating system.
How it works?
- • After giving the gadget a sample of his voice, which it then saves, the user can switch to another feature called "Direct Speech".
- • Following that, the user will be able to direct the device to read texts and messages in a voice that is identical to that of the owner.
- As a result, you can write a letter and have the artificial intelligence translate it into speech that can be heard in your voice before sending it to a friend or relative.
- • The general goal of this feature is to assist those who have temporarily lost their voice or speech.
- • If someone is in danger of losing their voice as well, this feature enables them to maintain their tone and, after some time, they can use it to read texts aloud and interact with others.
- • According to technology experts, this function represents a tremendous paradigm shift because electronics are no longer merely something we use; they have evolved into copies of us, resemble us in certain ways, and are aware of our preferences, such as music and dining establishments.
